Your power lies in one forensic question that forces the system to reveal if it has a heart or just a handbook.
When faced with Principled Obstruction, respond:
"Please provide the written policy. Then, direct me to the formal exemption or mercy clause for when adherence causes demonstrable, unjust harm. All just systems have one."
This does three things:
- Demands the 'Holy Text': Moves conflict from vague authority to a reviewable document.
- Tests for a Pulse: A system with a heart has a mercy clause. A system of pure control does not.
- Reclaims Your Authority: You become an auditor, not a supplicant.
The Decode: Principled Obstruction is a test of the system's soul. Your question is the litmus paper. The presence or absence of a mercy clause is the result.
