I do think it is a big deal for Seattle. Obviously they have Walker as their main back but Charbonnet was their short yardage and goaline back. He has way more TDs than Walker this year. Rams have a good run defense so you might see a situation where Seahawks need to throw more in goal to go situations and the Rams also have 6 INTs off Darnold this year. I don't think it is catastrophic for the Seahawks like say losing JSN would be but it is definitely a blow.

Yep, that’s what I was thinking, it pushes more work to Darnold

NFL is a matchup league. I think the Rams pose some problems for the Seahawks that the 49ers couldn't. Their DLine is stout against the run and can rush the passer well. They have 6 picks against Darnold not because their secondary is great (it's average) but because they could shut down the run on early downs and pressure Darnold into making mistakes. And I think offensively they can open up space with much better receivers like Nacua and Adams which forces out of the shell defense they want to play and opens stuff up over the middle.

Seattle has a huge special teams advantage and the defense is playing all world, they are at home and they are playing very good football. They are just executing on a high level and pushing the limits of what they can get away with. There was a lot of holding on those outside zone runs but it's the playoffs refs are being more lenient. I saw a video this morning of the kickoff return and the block that opened the lane for Shaheed was very very close to being a block in the back.

Seahawks are playing and executing better than the Rams right now. Rams haven't looked great since early December but they are finding ways to win. If it comes down to what team executes best overall I think the Seahawks win. If it comes down to what QB makes the big plays or the least mistakes I will take Stafford by a mile.

I think I lean slightly Rams.

And I absolutely hate that unless the Patriots have the game of their lives one of the 49ers division rivals are going to win the Super Bowl in Levis. Ugh.

Definitely sad for Seattle but I’m not crying!
