Here’s a more casual, human, and friendly version while keeping everything clear and respectful:
Hi Geyser Team,
Hope you’re all doing well 👋
As I’ve mentioned a couple of times on SN, we’re currently running a project on Geyser:
https://geyser.fund/project/bitcoinstudyhubs
I recently came across the new All-Or-Nothing campaign mode and it really resonated with me. The idea of setting a clear goal, locking funds until it’s reached, and refunding contributors if it isn’t feels like a great way to build trust, focus momentum, and make sure projects don’t end up half-funded.
From what you’ve shared, AoN seems especially designed to:
- Give contributors more confidence by holding funds in smart contracts until goals are met
- Help creators test ideas without the risk of underfunding
- Create urgency and momentum around time-bound goals, especially for projects that need a minimum amount to truly work
Given that, I wanted to ask @Geyser if it’s possible to move an already running project into the All-Or-Nothing mode.
Specifically, I’m curious about:
- Whether existing campaigns can be converted to AoN, and how that would work
- Any technical or timing considerations when switching a live project
- What happens to contributions that have already been made
- Any docs or next steps you’d recommend if this is possible
Thanks a lot for your time. I’m really excited about what AoN enables and would love to see if it’s a good fit for Bitcoin Study Hubs.
This is awesome 👍. Keep up the good work!
