Build your node in a steel case. LOL, I don't know if that would work though… Because it seems like the EMP could still travel up the Ethernet and power cables into it. I don't even think a surge protector would help stop it either. Also, you would need a worldwide EMP to completely kill every node. You only need 1 node to survive.

If we have a worldwide EMP bitcoin will be the least of your concerns. Food, clean water, guns, propane, gold and silver will be your scarce assets of choice.
