My interest in bitcoin stemmed from trying to understand why farmland prices continue to go up in Australia, which I realised was largely to do with lower interest rates.
When questioning how/why interest rates continue to get lower I realised the whole of Keynesian economics is fundamentally flawed, and incongruent with how complex systems should work.
I first dismissed bitcoin as a bubble in 2017, but it finally all clicked early last year when central banks went nuts.
I think bitcoin has massive potential to make our food production systems and rural communities much more sustainable.
When people like @koob build novel platforms like stacker news on the lightning network, my conviction in bitcoin grows even stronger.
Your experience is great evidence of how there aren't borders to these bad ideas or who it affects. Money is how we quantify what humans value and distorting money distorts all aspects of human life.

I've lived around ag intensive areas most of my conscious life. It is remarkable how little we appreciate our nutrition sources. Is there anyone writing on ag and Bitcoin that you find makes the case particularly well?
