Both fail to recognise the vital importance of government in the creation of wealth and security.
Libertarians ceaselessly discount the importance of government in terms of economic prosperity and security.
Without government you have very fragile and limited security or property rights.
You just have the law of the jungle.
The most potent factors in human wealth and life are manmade concepts that require organised collective agreement and compliance...things like property rights, laws, defense, money and infrastructure.
You should be embarassed for believing capitalism could function and humans could prosper without strong and good government over seeing them and providing security...because it has never occurred and is highly unlikely to ever.
If you do not believe me go out and try surviving on your own with no government and security and see how it goes for you.
But you will not because virtually all Libertarians remain living under the protective skirts of the nation state because it delivers them so many benefits.
They are just a bunch of ungrateful whingers.

I prefer a strong social democratic government, where it is possible.
Libertarians bleating about paying taxes and refusing to participate in the political process endangers democracy.
I have watched 40 plus years of neoliberal-libertarian bullshit decimate the west and its economies, social fabric and democracies...you seem not to have noticed the toxic effects of your 'markets fix everything' dogma.
The sense of community, equity and common purpose and values has gone and replaced by an amoral, greed is good poison infiltrating every facet of western civilisation.
Libertarians are for government, anarchists don't have it.
