Whether you use AI or not, don't skip the part where you learn how to read/write/understand. You don't want to move from the old average (being unable to do something) to the new average (doing only what AI can do for you). The goal is to be better, to be more, internally, and with luck, manifest that betterment externally in a way that only you can. Use tools to make you better, to extend you, produce what you could if you had more time. Don't settle for slop.
