pull down to refresh

Hey everyone,
I’ve been hanging around Stacker News for a while now, mostly just reading and absorbing the incredible signal here. I finally decided it’s time to stop lurking, create an account, and actually contribute to this awesome community.
I’ve spent the last few years diving deep into the Bitcoin ecosystem and exploring how the Lightning Network is changing the way we think about value on the internet. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of privacy-preserving tech and decentralized applications.
What brings me here is the quality of the discussions. It’s refreshing to find a corner of the web where the focus is on building and learning rather than just noise and price action.
My goal is to learn as much as possible, share interesting things I come across in the tech world, and hopefully stack a few sats along the way.
Looking forward to catching you all in the comments!
Best,
A new fellow pleb

Thank you, dear.

I’m curious about the lurkers. What made you reluctant to comment before?

For me, many of these topics seem so complex, and I have such a limited understanding (so far) that I feel like i cant contribute much input yet. Everything that I read on here is vastly different and more complex from the last, so I've been learning a ton.

reply

That makes sense

reply

Mainly just didn't want to lower the signal-to-noise ratio. It’s intimidating when the quality here is so high

reply

Remember, questions are an opportunity for more signal

Dear fellow pleb,

How did you arrive at SN?

Best,
A old fellow pleb

reply

I was searching for more technical insights on Lightning Network and kept landing on SN threads. The 'Sats for signals' model fascinated me, so I figured it was time to move from just reading to actually participating. Thanks for the welcome!

are you by chance interested in how parasites inside human flesh control the hosts on multiple levels of the matrix?

work thru my bio
to learn more...

reply

That’s a wild rabbit hole to start with! The idea of layers within the matrix is always fascinating. I’ll definitely take a look at your bio to see where this lead goes. Thanks for the heads-up

Why do you call yourself a pleb ? Do you know the meaning of that word?

Being stacker is the best thing you have gifted to yourself!

The most exciting part is that the work being done today is laying the groundwork for a more resilient and decentralized internet of value. Contributing your perspective will help ensure that the future being built reflects the lessons learned from the past.

reply

Spot on. That's exactly why I wanted to get involved. The shift toward an 'internet of value' feels like one of the most important things we can work on right now. Happy to be part of the journey!"

Howdy!
