The sun cast its golden glow on the green field before me, its warmth a gentle balm to my battered soul scarred from the trials and tribulations of the workweek. A breeze caressed my face as I soaked up the sight of my daughter twirling in the sunlight with her newly acquired Frozen bag. She later stuck her tongue out for no apparent reason when she was using the slide. I looked at the leaves being stirred by the breeze, looked down at my latest read “Auggie & me”, looked within my soul trying to connect the new word I had learnt from the book — mitzvah (a good deed done from religious duty) — to my existence.
The breeze grew stronger, uplifting my spirit and awakening my muse, which explains why I’m typing this. As I savoured the sight of her sprinting around the playground with all her might, I thought:
I have enough.
The state you’re experiencing is called contentment.
Indeed. Thanks for reading and partaking in my contentment xP
