Hello,
The expected scenario when you unlock your wallet with passaphrase in another browser the zap will work like browser number 1, what happens exactly in SN even if you unlock your wallet with passaphrase the zap only uses CC in another browser means if you for example flash your computer or delete a Windows user and create another one because it is plenty of cookies you will definitivelly lose ability to zap satoshis as first browser is gone.

@k00b can probably correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's right.

What you're doing is that you're giving SN a string that gives them permission to give instructions to your node to send and receive zaps.

But because SN cares about security, the permission is not a blanket permission. It still requires you to send authorized instructions to SN. The key that enables that authorization is on your browser. But if you lose your first browser, but you still have the key, you can still just use a second browser to do that. First browser doesn't need to exist.

What does need to exist and be operational is the lightning node.

I can't tell what they're asking exactly, but we both answered slightly different questions, so one of us probably helped lol.

I think we both said the same thing, but yours used the more precise technical language and i was trying to be more colloquial

The passphrase is used is used to encrypt/decrypt your wallet sending credentials so we can sync sending credentials between your devices (without them being stored on SN's server in plaintext). If you lose one device/browser's storage, nothing changes. You can input the passphrase again or on another device and it will sync.
