The number of US active ETF launches jumped +71% YoY, to a record 997 in 2025.

This marks the 3rd consecutive annual increase after the 2022 bear market decline.

Equity led with 435 new launches, followed by "Other" at 419 and Fixed Income at 114.

To put this in perspective, more active ETFs were launched in 2025 alone than in the entire 2010-2019 decade combined.

The active ETF industry is booming as investor appetite for speculation is rising.
