Yeah, with the exception of Sulawesi, I’ve known ABOUT the big islands of Indonesia all my life. It wasn’t until I put this together and did it a couple of times that I knew which one was which though. Honestly, I was kind of surprised to discover how small Java is. I always assumed it was the biggest. I also always previously thought Bali was like way out by itself in the ocean.
I never knew you were from Singapore, by the way. Very cool! I’d love to hear your take on all of its growth, crises, and development if you’re ever interested in sharing, or already have any posts about that that are worth checking out.
I’m intrigued! How come you have had an intimate knowledge of Indonesia from a young age?
Since you asked, I wrote about the bitcoin situation in Singapore two years ago, and I believe most of the things I mentioned then still remain valid today!

I think most Americans know all those names. They’re just kind of in the zeitgeist. We just don’t know where they are! Haha I’m learning now though.
