do you appreciate the power of Stacker News[1] in attacking a problem similar to the one attacked by Steemit, without introducing any new currency?
You might have noticed that there's some thing called Cowboy Credits[2]. Ideally these should be interchangeable with real sats. My impression is that the best way to turn them into real sats, if you discover that you have way more CCs than you can spend on comments, is by zapping good comments early, which wins daily rewards; however that requires being online early enough to zap them.
amusingly enough, regular stackers abbreviate the site's name "SN", which I still often read as "Satoshi Nakamoto" as a leftover from the early phase of my interest in Bitcoin, when I was much more interested in theories about his/their identity. ↩
abbreviated CCs, and folks who don't like them sometimes call them "cowshit" ↩
