You can pack your subservience to peer group pressure in poetry all you like.
We are communicating on a platform deliberately and at some effort built upon the principle of being a V4V P2P sats denominated social media.
If you leave the house without horse and gun you are not verifying to other users that you are enabled to zap sats or receive sats to the maximum extent possible.
Many have argued it is nobody elses business whether you can be bothered enabling P2P sats V4V- but the entire project is dependent upon people making that effort- otherwise it devolves into a CC shitcoin fest depleted of value (sats) and depleted of P2P.
Some have argued that content is the only thing that matters- who cares if you are zapping with sats or CCs? I do. As does anyone who believes in the importance of Bitcoin and building Bitcoins MoE capacity.
Bitcoin will not inevitably succeed. It was built to give us the opportunity to make censorship resistant P2P payments but faces huge obstacles from governments, bankers, FUD and the apathy of the masses.
IMO anyone calling themselves a serious Bitcoiner will want to have LN wallets attached, and use them everyday to help build the LN.
And they will not be ashamed or shy to show they have made this effort- they will want to verify they have made this effort by showing the horse and gun emojis.
I am tired of the loud hypocrits here who proclaim strong pro Bitcoin beliefs but cannot be bothered making the effort to attach a LN wallet.
I knew you had attached wallets previously because I could see a horse and gun.
Now you have chosen to conceal that LN capability from all other users.
I will not zap anyone who does not provide PoW (horse and gun) that they are serious about using sats here...unless they are obviously a newbie and may not have yet managed the process of attaching the wallet/s.
No matter how good their 'content' because if there is no PoW and they have chosen not to attach wallet/s or to conceal them then the context they are presenting their content in is one of hypocrisy.
Do not trust- verify.
These are my un-poetic but genuinely held beliefs.
Do what you like- if your need to be part of the group is greater than reasoned and claimed principles that will be your fate. Not mine.
