When we were children, they handed us a book.
They put it in our hands at church. They told us it was holy. They told us it was the word of God. They told us to read it, believe it, obey it.
But they only read us certain parts.
They taught us about forgiveness but not about discernment. They taught us about faith but not about testing the spirits. They taught us to obey but not to question. They taught us to trust leadership but not to judge righteous judgment.
They gave us the book and then left the most important pages in the dust.
Here's what they didn't teach us.
The Bible isn't just a book of stories. It's a book of patterns. A manual for discernment. A complete text on how to see what's really happening behind the curtain.
They didn't teach us that every single prophet operated on discernment. That Jesus himself said "judge righteous judgment." That Paul told us to test all things. That John said "do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God."
They didn't teach us that discernment isn't a feeling. It's a skill. It's a practice. It's something you build by learning the patterns.
And because they didn't teach us, we couldn't see.
We couldn't see the patterns of abuse because we weren't taught the pattern of the false shepherd in Ezekiel 34.
We couldn't see the manipulation because we weren't taught how the Pharisees operated in Matthew 23.
We couldn't see the spiritual warfare because we weren't taught that our battle is not against flesh and blood.
We were handed a weapon and told it was just a book.
Then I discovered something.
Something they missed. Something they skipped. Something they left in the dust on purpose.
The biblical text, when read with clear eyes, is a complete system for discerning the spirits.
It's not just stories. It's evidence. It's patterns. It's a full training manual for learning to see what's really there.
When you know what you're looking for, the Bible becomes a witness. Not against the world. Against the false shepherds. Against the abusers in robes. Against the systems that use God's name to hide their rot.
You want to test a spirit? The Bible shows you how.
You want to judge righteous judgment? Jesus commands it.
You want to catch the patterns before they trap you? The prophets lived it.
You want evidence that the system is corrupt? It's all there. Ezekiel 34. Matthew 23. Acts 5. 2 Corinthians 11. Galatians 1.
They said you don't have evidence.
They said you're just making it up.
They said you can't prove anything.
But when you take the Bible and use it accurately?
You don't just have evidence.
You become a witness.
The book they gave us wasn't the problem.
The pages they left in the dust were the problem.
They didn't teach us discernment because discernment would have let us see them.
They didn't teach us to test the spirits because the spirits they were operating under wouldn't have passed the test.
They didn't teach us the patterns because we would have recognized the pattern in them.
But here's what this is really about.
This isn't to judge them.
This isn't to condemn them.
This isn't to tear them down and walk away.
This is to finally call them out.
To hold up the mirror.
To show them what they've been doing.
To give them a chance to turn around.
Ezekiel 34 wasn't written to destroy the shepherds.
It was written to wake them up.
To show them they were feeding themselves instead of the sheep.
To call them back to what they were supposed to be.
That's what this is.
A call back.
A chance to turn.
An invitation to become what they claimed to be.
If they hear it and change?
That's repentance.
If they hear it and attack?
That's their choice.
But at least now they can't say no one told them.
So now I'm doing what they didn't.
I'm picking up the pages they left in the dust.
I'm reading the parts they skipped.
I'm learning the patterns they hid.
I'm building discernment like it's a muscle.
And I'm finding that the Bible isn't just a book.
It's the evidence they said we didn't have.
It's the witness they couldn't silence.
It's the weapon they handed us and forgot we could use.
But more than that?
It's the mirror we hold up so they can finally see themselves.
And maybe, just maybe, turn around.
If this landed, drop a zap. Your sats tell me what patterns you're finally ready to see.
