!!!Burglars Beware!!!!!!Burglars Beware!!!

I've wanted to do this ever since the comment section of this post blew up. I'm not a pacifist, and am actually a pretty good shot, but I'm just not a huge having-tons-of-weapons-in-the-house kinda guy. "Live by the sword..."

Anyway, I shot back with this meme[1], and the counterargument prevailed[2]. But I still think there's an even better way, and am finally updating our home's signage to reflect it.

The fine print says, "Please allow for at least 3 months wait and 12 hours travel time for any and all burglaries.

I probably need to add in there that we don't have enough savings that it's worth the effort listed on the sign, but I feel as if that goes without saying. idk Don't kidnap me. Long climb, short slide, ya' dig?

Anyway, would other folks be interested in these? I'm thinking of making them in different styles (Simplisafe style yard signs mostly) and can customize it to your on-chain setup. Just to be upfront, after realizing how much shipping rates have changed when sending some of those coasters a bit ago, they probably won't be cheap. I could also just design you one if you have access to a 3d printer.

  1. which I recently discovered was my most lucrative comment ever on stacker.news, so I guess some folks dug it

  2. rightfully so, I'm quasi-convinced now you bloodthirsty home-defenders

something tells me that burglars don't read and will just assume "this house has bitcoin"

Hmmm…. I may write an “Intro to Multisig for Burglars” course. 🤣

"Please read before burglarizing"

Do it before they cut off your fingers. Speech-to-text suxx

I definitely would not put a sign on my house with anything remotely connected to Bitcoin. It just makes you a target.

It's the reason I didn't opt for the HODLBTC license plate which was actually available
