"Anime salve" means "solitary souls." It's basically praising loneliness. Not everyone can handle being alone. Old folks can't do it. Sick people can't either. Even politicians can't afford it. A lonely politician is usually a ruined one.

But when you're totally alone, connecting with the world is actually easier. That world isn't just other people. It's the whole universe. From a leaf sprouting at night to the stars. You just make peace with it better. You think about your own mess more clearly. You might even find better solutions. And since we're all human, those fixes can help others too.

I'm not trying to sell you on asceticism here. You don't need to be a hermit or a monk. But I've noticed something from my own life. And trust me, I've lived fully! My ID doesn't show my real age, but I've lived it.
