You need an incoming channel to do that. If “You” just open a channel, it will be for sending only until you move some off the channel.
Ah, the inbound liquidity issue.
I'm thinking of opening a channel and sending 50% of the value out to Kraken, then withdrawing it back to Muun/BlueWallet, and from there, sending it back to my Lightning node, so it appears on the inbound portion of the channel.
It's more steps but cheaper than using a looping service.
Also, I need to understand if one channel that will cover most of my Lightning needs is better than many smaller channels. So I'm looking into that at the mo.

You can use something like amboss to get an incoming channel. If you send the sats back to your node, you will just fill the channel back up again, and not be able to receive again.
