I’ve been in the photography world for a long time now, and I’ve been running NOICE Magazine since 2015. It’s become a fairly low-key, but recognizable name in the photo space. One thing I’ve consistently noticed though is that most photographers still don’t really understand Bitcoin.
As I rebuild the NOICE website, I’ve quietly integrated a bit of Bitcoin education into it (bottom footer section). It’s not loud or preachy - it’s subtle. It lives in the same place NOICE has always lived: curiosity. There’s a small page that gently walks the viewer through what fiat money is, how we arrived here, and why Bitcoin exists as a solution. It’s simple, thoughtful, and intentional.
I think it fits well.
To my knowledge, NOICE is the first photography publication to meaningfully integrate Bitcoin into its foundation. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it feels good to finally bring those worlds together in a way that feels honest and aligned.
Just doing my small part.
The site is still in progress, so that explains the vercel domain. I hope to have everything transfered over soon.
Poke around the site. Still welcoming feedback.

Do you ever zap other content providers here on SNs?
If you do so you are not doing it with sats because you do not have a sending wallet attached.
As a content consumer I much prefer to zap content providers who have both sending and receiving wallets attached showing they are fully supporting the sats denominated ethos that is central to SNs and Bitcoin.
If we attach sending and receiving LN wallets we maximise the sats saturation of the SNs economy!
If we don't, we don't.
