Earlier this morning the Mexican Army took out Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) head Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes also known as El Mencho. The response from the cartel has been absolutely insane.

Videos have emerged of the cartel storming airports like the Guadalajara International Airport taking it over. This is the second airport they have attacked today with Puerto Vallarta International Airport in Jalisco also suffering attacks and Air Canada announcing all flights to and from the airport are cancelled.

The US government has issued shelter in place orders for Americans in five states in Mexico due to the explosion in violence.

CJNG has also begun launching attacks on military sites across the Jalisco area ramping up attack from earlier and setting structures and vehicles on fire to shut areas down. This is bold and something we saw occur after under the previous Mexican Admin but they backed down and retreated an let El Chapos kids go. I’m not sure at all that this Mexican Administration has the ability to back off of everything again.
