In this version, CCs are much more important since spending them earns you some sats for your direct contribution and some CCs to keep posting. Sat zaps would still be allowed, and the reward sats would come from the territory. I'm just throwing ideas out there; if it helps refine anything or serves as a springboard for an idea, I'll be happy.

I was thinking about something similar. In a system like 

 described, rewards could go out in proportion to total amount spent, regardless of how it was spent. I don't think you'd ever want to treat CCs differently from how sats are treated, though.

How about a new filter for downzaped posts?
