Are you saying that people who come here and repeatedly virtue signal that they are BTC Maxis, for example claiming to be 'living on The Bitcoin Standard' and continually post pro adoption LN content have reasonable cause (on privacy grounds)  to conceal whether they have attached LN wallets?

If Stacker News still sees its sats denominated nature as a priority then the ability of content providers to conceal their wallet status needs to be removed.

Stacker news' priority is making pseudonymous places on the internet that don't require moderators and are self-policing. Related to that, costliness and control of costliness are priorities. SN's unit of account is sats, and being costly, people should earn things, either sats or CCs that SN accepts like sats, for the costly things they do here.

If you want to zap people based on their wallet status, that's your priority, not ours. To be clear, I'd prefer everyone were able to zap sats and be zapped sats here, but harassment, discrimination, and revealing details about someone's relationship with bitcoin that they'd prefer hidden does not change that. The main outcome of that would be causing good folks, independent of their wallet status, to leave SN.

How about a new filter for downzaped posts?
