I saw a tweet earlier saying that maybe this AI hype isn’t moving as fast as we think
And it references that people in 1900 thought we'd have flying cars by 1950
And it got me thinking about whether actually there was some ulterior subterfuge to stop flying cars from ever happening
I mean, you think, how many industries would be obliterated by flying cars?I mean, you think, how many industries would be obliterated by flying cars?
- Tire manufacturing! Worth billions of dollars every year, gone!
- Road construction and maintenance worth probably trillions worldwide
- Ashphalt/Tarmac suppliers not needed
- Bridge builders dissappear
- Parking spaces/car parks empty
- Traffic light and road signs unused
Can you think of any more? Can you think of any more?
The car/road industrial complex is one of the biggest economic machines ever built and the powers that be won't let that go without a fight
I suppose we could align that with Bitcoin having picked on the biggest industrial complex known to man....Money
Is it any wonder 99% of the planet thinks Bitcoin is a ponzi, the system has a vested interest in bringing it down, discrediting it, marketing to the masses about criminals and tulips and boiling oceans and whatever else they can think of
I kind of want to keep this about flying cars before i veer off talking about how the state can't finance the industrial war complex and go down multiple rabbit holes
Interestingly i used the verb to veer, which is a driving term 🤣🤣
And I hardly mentioned AI 😐
