Now Kali is packaging AI Claude in its OS. It's been a long-time standard for basic IT security and pen-test training, but I'm not sure packaging AI with Kali is a smart thing for the end user. Having AI do things automatically without knowing what its doing, especially when testing, can open up the door for a lot of trouble in personal liability. It's one of the reasons I ultimately decided not to get into OpSec even though I have all the training. Without clear support and backup, client companies are very quick to hang testers out to dry when something goes criminal...

Kali bundling Claude AI is wild. Cool for automation and learning, but I’d be cautious—letting AI handle security tests without fully understanding it could land someone in hot water fast. Liability is no joke in pen-testing.
