I got into running over a month ago, but I haven't been consistent at all. One of my main obstacles was the fact that I work from 9-5, but, I got a solution, running at night after my workday

I did that like three times one week, tracking my runs with strava. then another obstacle came and it was that I wasn't feeling motivated about going on a run

the running thing came thanks to my IG feed, which is full of incredible women running and training for marathons and stuff like that. the first thought that came to my mind was: I can totally run 10k at this very moment (I didn't do it lol) and not because I can't, but because I don't have the necessary physical and mental stamina to do it yet

then I created a training plan so I could run. I haven't managed to follow it perfectly yet, but that's what I'm trying to do. this is where I realized that I have to stop doing things when I feel motivated and do them with discipline.

if I want to run today I'll do it, if I don't want to run the next day I'll do it anyway

so, about the training for 42k walk. I found this incredible walk event, which is happening in my city on May 30th, I want to go so bad

I only need two important things, money for the walk registration (which is $30) and train so I can achieve my goal

I will try to tell you about my training process for this event, which I am very excited about. If you have any advice to make this whole experience more bearable, please let me know. and if you want to run a marathon or walk a marathon distance, take this post as a sign

and also if you want to zap anything for my inscription I'll be really happy

thanks for reading! stay humble, stack sats⚡
