I should have conferred with Claude instead of Grok when making my final four pick. Grok convinced me Illinois losing to UConn earlier in the year was an anomaly and they were fully healthy and had an elite D. Wrong.

I didn’t really feel like UConn played all that well in the tournament, being a 2 seed. they just barely beat Duke, who also hadn’t been playing well all tournament. I think Illinois was a reasonable pick

They came from 19 points down to beat a 1 seed, yes it was a lucky shot but they also created their luck by forcing 8 turnovers in the second half
