The Breez SDK: Class of Q1 2026The Breez SDK: Class of Q1 2026

The first class of SDK partners we introduced was Q1 2025, making this the fifth entry. While it’s still too early to say where this trend is headed, we can safely say it’s a trend.

Each of these partners has come to the Breez SDK on their own path, but their reasons tend to overlap. Whether you look at the user experience, the developer experience, the ease of implementation, the cost, the support, or any other criterion, it’s hard to find a better way to add instant, non-custodial bitcoin to any app or service. We’re constantly adding new features, like passkey login, and we prioritize our own development pipeline based on what our partners tell us they need.

Perhaps the most thrilling aspect of reviewing the latest cohort of new partners or, indeed, the dozens of partners who’ve implemented the Breez SDK so far, is just how diverse they are. Once again in this class, we have pure crypto ventures, messaging apps, loyalty programs for retailers, savings apps, and even cooking.

It just goes to show that the Breez SDK is as scalable as it is versatile. Check it out:

BAOMarketsBAOMarkets

A bitcoin-based prediction market you can bet on

Like Bitcoin itself, the idea of prediction markets has been around for a long time, just waiting for the right technology. And just as Lightning and Breez have been revolutionizing what bitcoin can do, BAOMarkets is leveraging this dynamic duo to revolutionize what prediction markets can do. In fact, the Breez SDK is what makes long-term bets possible by letting them book bets that extend beyond Lightning’s 24-hour HTLCs without losing custody and final settlement. Innovation like that is always a safe bet.

BitLassoBitLasso

Built-in volume discounts for retailers and service providers of all kinds

Regular customers are golden because the cost of customer acquisition is such a drag. BitLasso helps vendors of all kinds turn their customers into regulars by letting vendors issue customers with tokens for each paid invoice that the customers can redeem for discounts on future purchases. The more you buy, the more you save. Now with the Breez SDK, those customer payments are even faster, but just as final and non-custodial as ever.

Cake WalletCake Wallet

An old friend comes back for seconds

Cake first implemented the Breez SDK based on Greenlight back in 2024. Now, after two years of learning and refining, they’re back to take advantage of the newer Spark implementation. It’s even easier for their devs to work with, and simplifies life on the users’ end too. We love growing together with Cake, and we’re eager to see where our common road leads next.

DeblockDeblock

A European neobank giving sovereignty to the masses

Deblock is on a mission to combine the ease of conventional banking with the sovereignty of crypto. Once they had jumped through the regulatory hoops of operating a bank in Europe, they turned to the daunting task of integrating bitcoin. But it was only daunting until they found the Breez SDK, which made bitcoin transfers faster, cheaper, and simpler than they or their users had thought possible.

EventoEvento

Bringing people together through fun and bitcoin

Having lived through the pandemic, we all understand isolation and alienation. Evento is an antidote to both, helping people to build communities by organizing events. Users can sell tickets, raise money through crowdfunding, and find each other on the global bitcoin events map. And it’s all peer-to-peer. Evento is exactly the kind of activity we built Breez to support, and that’s why they also won one of the top prizes in our recent </time2build> developer challenge.

ExolixExolix

Aggregating exchanges to get users the best deal

Once upon a time, there were only a few coins out there and only a few exchanges to trade them on. With over 14K coins now spread across over 27K exchanges, how do you know you’re getting the best deal? Exolix is constantly scanning the market for the best rates. Users can send their orders and receive their funds within minutes at the cheapest rates available on nearly 1700 exchanges. And they now move bitcoin Lightning-fast with the Breez SDK.

PrimalPrimal

Nostr messaging with built-in bitcoin value transfer

Nostr is a messaging technology built on the same principles as Bitcoin and Lightning: decentralization, peer-to-peer interaction, personal sovereignty, and freedom. Primal is a Nostr client that reflects those same principles, but they were facing the same dilemma as everyone else. Either they could use a custodial solution, with all the regulatory and counterparty risk that entails, or they could build their own Lightning client, punishing their users and devs in the process. The Breez SDK lets them combine the best of both worlds: a UX and DX with the sovereignty and freedom that Bitcoin and Nostr were built on.

kute walletkute wallet

The all-in-one wallet goes all-in with the Breez SDK

kute wallet is for people who want all the benefits in a single package. It lets users hold their funds, connect with their hardwallets, use their phones as air-gapped signers, and buy bitcoin without KYC. Oh, and they can trade on Polymarket too. So it makes perfect sense that the do-everything wallet has the Breez SDK running on both the Spark and Liquid implementations. If some is good, more has to be better.

SwaptradeSwaptrade

Swapping bitcoin just got a lot faster

Swaptrade is a non-custodial swapping platform that is all about user choice. As nice as it is to be able to swap between 11 different coins without losing custody, bitcoin swaps were, until recently, slow. Without Lightning, Swaptrade users had to wait for on-chain confirmation. With the Breez SDK, their funds move magically in seconds for fast and secure swaps. The Breez SDK lets them increase their throughput while decreasing users’ wait times.

SweepSweep

Automating savings with the best asset in existence

Passive income is an elusive goal that many strive to achieve. Sweep has achieved the next best thing: automating savings with bitcoin. Users can connect Sweep to their bank accounts (without Sweep seeing their account details), spend normally from their bank account on whatever purchases they like, and Sweep rounds the total up as defined by the user, automatically investing the change in bitcoin. A single father developed this to teach his two teenage girls about saving, but he might have been too successful. If saving is this easy, they’ll never have to think about it.

WispWisp

Social media rebuilt on open protocols and instant bitcoin

Wisp is a Nostr client that refuses to compromise. No ads, no algorithms, no corporate ownership, and now, no friction on bitcoin either. With the Breez SDK, Wisp onboards every user to instant, non-custodial bitcoin automatically, no wallet setup required. The result is one of the smoothest zapping experiences on Nostr today. Six weeks after launch, Wisp had already cracked the top five Nostr clients, and users can even cash out to Bitrefill without leaving the app.

Zap CookingZap Cooking

Send your compliments to the chef in bitcoin

Zap Cooking is another app leveraging Nostr that lets users share recipes, cooking tips, and products while tipping each other for spreading the joy of delicious meals and treats. It’s a simple idea that builds community based on shared interests. The Breez SDK just facilitates the tokens of appreciation that these like-minded gourmets relish.
