This is interesting, and I can definitely relate to it. I didn't understand at first that there were different implementation of the lightning protocol, and when I found LND on Umbrel, I just assumed this is it. Obviously, I should have adhered to DYOR before jumping in.
It should be interesting to see how BOLT12 plays out and if LND decides to join in or not.
