Maybe the signal isn’t whether the report was true.

Maybe it’s that enough people found it plausible.

A few years ago, “Iran charging tolls in Bitcoin” sounds like fantasy.
Now it sounds like something people at least pause over.

That doesn’t mean Bitcoin won.
It may just mean the old system looks less unquestioned than it used to.
