The ones around here known as Queixada aren't the same species; as far as I know, they aren't usually afraid of hunting season because there are so many of them—really, a lot. Farmers in the Pantanal region dig trenches in strategic spots to stop them from crossing, creating a drop-off and a barrier they can't get over, though they can still turn back.
