An increase in M2 by 41% between pre-pandemic (Jan 2020) and peak inflation (April 2022) does not constitute “forty percent of all dollars in existence were created in response to COVID”

Is the point your are making here, that the number 40% is incorrect? If i'm not mistaken it should be somewhere around 29% because 41 is roughly 29% of 141. Or is there something in addition you are pointing out like not everything happening during the time frame is covid related?
