Lightning Login vs Nostrconnect

I have seen some sites with lightning wallet login, have not seen any with nostrconnect (if you have some examples please let me know). But my question is what do you think has a better chance in the future?

Here's an example, although I'm sure SN used to have the Lightning option for logging in—I don't see it now.

Is it still possible to log in with the Lightning wallet? @k00b

You can't signup with lightning but you can login with lightning still.

Lightning login is great as a backup login but folks change wallets/nodes frequently so we don't want people using it as the primary method.

If I'm registered with an email address, can I also log in with lightning or a Nostr key?

Yes

  1. go to settings
  2. click logins near the top
  3. should be straightforward from there
