Just something I whipped up to help my students pass their timed practice tomorrow:
Dear Mr Chan,
I am Jim Danish from Primary 6 Resilience. I am writing this email to nominate Mr Heng for the “Inspiring Teacher of English” award.
I have been Mr Heng’s student for about ten months. I believe that my English has improved by leaps and bounds under his expert guidance/tutelage. His novel teaching methodsset him apart from other teachers. For instance, he uses his mellifluous voice to illustrate the importance of articulate and passionate communication. In addition, he uses authentic real-life examples to boost our knowledge of current affairs. I have benefitted tremendously throughout my time with him. Should you decide to nominate another deserving educator, I humbly request that Mr Heng be allowed to go home early every Friday. He deserves his mental health break!
