Agree totally it is the same old patterns repeating but we are caught up in it and the consequences like it or not. I want to at least be informed about what is going on and why. The motivations and objectives of this war seem as complex and obscure as the new technology and asymmetric tactics being applied. We are all affected by what is going on in these wars but the powers that be seem very reluctant to let us know what the agenda really is...like the whole 'weapons of mass destruction' lies we were told about Iraq.
