I will be the first to admit that, yes, this is only a single ship making it through under U.S. protection, but it does show it can be done. This does lay the framework for other countries to join in and not participate in the war, but help escort these ships through the Strait. Europe has talked about doing this for a few weeks now, and nothing has come of it, but with the support of over 100 fighter jets, 15k troops, a multitude of boats, and UAVs, it is becoming possible.

Iran has acted out since it happened and struck the UAE, which is not exactly the best way to make friends. Gulf States have remained on the sidelines, but if Iran continues to strike them because boats pass, then it is only going to further drive them to help allow more boats to pass and to strike Iran directly.
