It would be an improvement in transparency and accountability if downzappers nyms were identified but maybe Stacker News is owned by Zionists?

it would also be interesting if there was any analogue to public zapping / downzapping on nostr. iiuc nostr has tips but always anonymous.
upzappers and downzappers can be identified if they are acting aggressively such as the downzapper of all anti- war posts except where they conceal their TOP stats data, which is what the downzapper of anti-war posts has done.
Boosts could be estimated by looking at a nums total spending unless, again they have concealed their TOP stats.
I have never muted anyone - if people are spouting nonsense - just ignore.
Those who mute often seem incapable of scrolling...or may feel threatened by challenging ideas they cannot refute?
@denlillaapan is the top earner who conceals their TOP stats but the downzpper does not appear to be him...as he has shown his spending graph...and it is not heavy on downzaps.

If the reason is 'privacy' then it is also enabling anonymous censorship.
