Here’s mine
I did many things this week. But the thing that stood out for me was getting my fourth graders to research about sunflowers. Not only did it take me to reminisce fondly about my past life, but it also enabled me to enhance my knowledge exponentially. Amazingly, five students did research, so I reaped the fruits of their labour. I now know that Russia is the top exporter of sunflower seeds and that sunflowers thrive in 6-8 hours of daily sunlight. My heart soars because I have co-constructed knowledge with my students.
