I am thrilled to finally be here on the platform. Many of you might already know me over on the Nostr ecosystem, but I wanted to formally introduce myself and the mission we are driving on the ground here in Nairobi, Kenya.

I am the founder of Future Within CBO, a community-based organization based in the Nairobi Kibera district. Our core focus is empowering local youth, fostering creativity, and building sustainable food security through a few key programs:

🎨 The Arts: We run community programs centered on dance, watercolor painting, and digital literacy to give young people a safe space to grow and express themselves.

🌱 Sustainable Agriculture: We are actively teaching the next generation about kitchen gardening, soil preparation, and nursery bed care to tackle food security from the roots up.

⚡ Bitcoin Integration: Bitcoin and the Lightning Network aren't just abstract tech concepts for us—they are practical tools for freedom. We leverage decentralized tools for crowdfunding our community infrastructure and are working hard to build a resilient, circular local economy that banks the unbanked.
