A new Qtrap from the Qbois that entangled a dumbass idea into people that only talk to Claude. The end goal is that before hitting the canary of stealing Satoshi's utxos, other coin can be stolen without triggering the alarm.
How it works, from the 8 days old draft NIP:
The recipient's Nostr pubkey is used directly as the internal key of a BIP-341 P2TR output, with no mathematical conversion. The output key is produced by the standard BIP-341 key-path-only tweak (no script tree), and encoded as bech32m (BIP-350) with human-readable prefix bc. Every Nostr pubkey therefore has exactly one corresponding mainnet Taproot address, and anyone can compute it from the pubkey alone. No they won't be dust because according to Mr. Gleason you should only zap more than a specific amount, of dollars.
I think this is for 99% an echo chamber issue. jb55 said "NAK" but since technically you cannot NAK a NIP... it just means bad ideas proliferate in the devs&claude echo chamber and you get people rushing to tell their bots to implement these bad ideas.
Which sucks because now the less technically capable users think it's fine; after all, a large portion of the devs "implemented" it. I fear that despite all the new superpowers those bots bring, we're not truly seeing the benefits of it in software. Instead, we're seeing (a) attacks and (b) laziness and (c) extreme yolo behavior. No bueno.
wtf is a onchain zap?
