In high school, my required reading included ~100 titles. My classmates read most of them. I didn't even read one. I used summaries and analyses, which you could buy, or (later on) find on the web. For exams, I'd print cheat sheets in small font and I never got caught. And I graduated with the best grades. So I guess I was ahead of my time.
Remember what our boomer teachers said to us at school 'you won't always have a calculator in your pocket' 🤣🤣
That didn't age well. The only time I don't have a calculator on me is when I'm in the shower or swimming naked in the ocean. Not because my smartphone is not waterproof (it is), but because I'm not a kangaroo 🤣
