Over time, the codebase started to feel less foreign. It became something I could understand, work with, and eventually help shape.
As a fellow civil engineer I can relate to the curiosity and the burn to try and help but unlike her I absolutely love my day job. Maybe that is why I haven’t put so much time and effort into honing my skills to achieve what she has achieved but she is definitely an inspiration!
