How is it relevant where the room you're paying for is located, the nationality of their owners, the fact that they're friends of yours, or even the nature of the goods your'e paying for?
Would you ask the same question if you where renting a car from a Norwegian person who isn't a friend of yours?
What worries me is that with the whole issue of the US blockade there is always someone trying to mess up what you want to do and many people are afraid. Sometimes I include myself in the latter.

I see. But as You're going to be transacting with people, not with governments, neither theirs, nor yours. And paying with Bitcoin will benefit both, your Cuban friends and yourself. Let's move those sats around. Let's shake 'em! :-)
