Yeah, people are still working on it, but I don’t think there’s been a clear “winner” yet. A lot of the conversation seems to have shifted toward things like BOLT12 offers, LSP-assisted payments, and other receiver-offline-ish approaches rather than pure async Lightning in the original sense. Feels like the demand is real, but the UX / liquidity / privacy tradeoffs are still awkward
