https://bitcoinbackbone.org/contributing.html

so i did my first prez at meatspace conference over the last weeks, i.e at some dark.events.

overall the feedback was positive and some asked me to contribute.

so i wrote a real contributing.md for the project.

real success will be to have folks smarter and more skilled than i am hacking on the project.

for now, it's moving forward with a basic testing framework, making good progress.

"In the light of persistent disagreements among the maintainers and a contributor,
all the parties agree to submit their disagreement to a neutral meditation to seek
a common solution, at a physical place of hearing being convenient for all the involved
parties."

Nice.

Feels like resistance to

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tyranny_of_Structurelessness

which imho has to some degree infected core. And I say this as somewhat that likes and uses core.

But it is great to see other competing bitcoin clients coming online.

I would do the exact same thing you did there was nothing wrong

Nice work. Clear contribution docs can make a huge difference for open‑source projects. Hopefully it lowers the barrier for more people to jump in and experiment with the framework👏👏👏
