Has anyone played with Suno AI music generator.

It's very cool. I have been having fun with it all afternoon.

The quality is good but It definitely sounds like AI to me when I listen back but I think you can probably improve that if you have the subscription version that gives you access to all kinds of tools.

AI definitely wants to annunciate every word when it is singing.

Sats for all,
GR

Friend of mine was doing 1 song each day for the second half of 2025 with it. In the beginning it was fun, but the slop gets really annoying quickly. They also got disillusioned with their own lack of creativity after a while, so I guess it was a good reality check for everyone in the end - the "creator" and the audience both found out that "this isn't it."

The quality is good

Back then, I thought it was truly poor quality. One of the things I loved about Apple Music when it launched was that the audio quality was sublime versus yt or spotify. A pleasure to the ear?

The generative music has been the opposite for me - it feels like the worst quality ever, it's not even that there are some unwanted artifacts, but like it's re-modulated jitter? I tried to extrapolate and filter a couple of times, but never succeeded in making it remotely acceptable to the ear. Asked another friend who is an audio technician refused to even try after hearing a few seconds of it.

I just checked some of their "top" songs just now to see how much better it got, and I still hear quite some pitch shift / sweeping. Maybe I am searching too hard?

I think that bottom line, it's a fun tool to make something nice and unique with it - one-time use. Like you could have it generate a nice personalized birthday song for your family member or an audio meme.

I guess the biggest challenge for these generative AI music models is how they can make them sound more human. I think they might be better at making digital music than say rock music.

It also could be a tool to give artists ideas they can build on. I fed it an old song from a band I was in 20 years ago and asked it to do a cover and add a bit of piano and it did. The song sounded very AI generated but the piano part it added was really nice and gave me a different perspective on the song.

This is a great use-case. AI intermediate products and not end-products also works pretty well in coding, research, writing, and so on.

Yes I use it to create a song for my friend wedding, the wife was ecstatic when she heard her name in the song.

It is a great AI song generator.

A good Suno AI user here

There was a time when I (with my ex) made some music just for my recreation. I have jazz, house and sertaneijo. I made some music for fun and dedicated to bitcoin. My latest album for me is (imo) my best work so far. I love make this kind of things.

Let me know if you like it.
