Germany did not disappoint yesterday beating Curaçao 7-1, though the first half hour of the match was leveled. Curaçao equalized the initial German goal and were fighting fiercely against them. However, Germany is Germany and once started the engine, they did not stop.

Then, we moved into one of the interesting matches in the group phase. Japan vs Netherlands , which was boring in the first half though it suddenly changed after half time to end up in 2-2 draw.

During the night, Côte d'Ivoire beat Ecuador 1-0 right at the end of the match, being one of the surprises of this first round.

Later on, Sweden smashed Tunisia 5-1.

Today, Spain will play against Cabo Verde. I can only think about a win for Spain but you can never sell the skin bear without hunting it. We will see. The other match in this group will take place in Miami, between Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.

Also tonight, Belgium will play against Egypt, which it should be an interesting match. Then, completing Group G, Iran and New Zealand will play in Los Angeles. Funny one after what we have been seeing in the last few months.
