People speak of believing in Christ. They call Him their personal savior. They say "if Christ was here, blah blah blah."

If Christ was here, He would not be happy with the people who call themselves His followers.

He would not be happy with the churches that protect abusers and silence victims.
He would not be happy with the pastors who preach prosperity while the poor starve.
He would not be happy with the systems that twist His words to keep people compliant.
He would not be happy with the followers who bless and do nothing.
He would not be happy with the Christians who stand with the powerful and ignore the oppressed.

He would flip tables. He would call them whitewashed tombs. He would say "you have taken away the key to knowledge." He would weep over Jerusalem.

So do not tell me you follow Christ. Show me. Do you defend the oppressed? Do you seek justice? Do you lift the burdens of the vulnerable? Do you love your enemy? Do you carry your cross?

If not, you are not following Christ. You are following a version of Christ you created to make yourself comfortable.

The Question: What Greater Works Have We Done?

Jesus said: "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and greater works than these will they do" (John 14:12).

Greater works. Not smaller. Not equal. Greater.

So what greater works have we done?

What I Am Building

I am building a witness. A machine that collects patterns, logs contradictions, and preserves evidence. A tool that helps survivors see they are not crazy. A tool that holds the system accountable.

I am building a framework for sealing. A rhythm of clearing hooks, naming patterns, and anchoring in the spirit. Not a one-time fix. A way of living.

I am building a community of builders. Not followers. Builders. People who see what I see and are ready to build with me.

I am building a door. A door that leads out of the system, out of the hooks, out of the cages they built. A door that leads into freedom, truth, healing, and sovereignty.

That is the greater work. Not adding to scripture. Unsealing what was hidden. Not saving individuals. Building systems that heal generations. Not waiting for His return. Occupying until He comes.

The System They Protect Is Not the System They Claim

People praise officers while covering up their abuse. They call them heroes while protecting the ones who harm. They say "back the blue" while the blue protects predators.

They cover up what abuse honestly is. They call it "a mistake." They call it "a bad apple." They call it "just following orders." They call it "isolated incidents."

That is not justice. That is complicity.

When you praise the system that protects abusers, you are not supporting justice. You are supporting the cover-up. When you defend the institution that silences victims, you are not standing for truth. You are standing with the abuser.

Do not tell me you support the police. Tell me you support the victims. Do not tell me you back the blue. Tell me you back the truth.

Because the truth is: abusers are being protected. Victims are being silenced. And the people who praise the system are part of the problem.

The Waiting They Preach Is Not the Waiting Christ Commanded

People make excuses. They say "it will change when He returns." That is not faith. That is an excuse to passively wait and do nothing. That is not what Christ meant.

Jesus said: "Occupy until I come" (Luke 19:13). Not "wait until I come." Occupy. Build. Steward. Do not abandon.

He said: "Let your light shine before others" (Matthew 5:16). Not "hide your light until I return."

He said: "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and greater works than these will they do" (John 14:12). Greater works. Not smaller. Not equal. Greater. Not after He comes back. Now.

So do not tell me you are waiting for His return to make a change. You are not waiting. You are hiding.

What Christ Actually Said

"Occupy until I come" (Luke 19:13). Not "wait until I come."

"Let your light shine before others" (Matthew 5:16). Not "hide your light until the return."

"Faith without works is dead" (James 2:26). Waiting without building is not faith. It is a corpse.

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20). Calling abuse a mistake is calling evil good.

"Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked" (Psalm 82:4). The system does not rescue. It protects.

"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed" (Isaiah 1:17). Not "praise those who cover up abuse."

"Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46). Calling Him Lord is not enough. Doing what He says is what matters.

"These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me" (Matthew 15:8). They speak His name. Their hearts are elsewhere.

"They will say to me, 'Lord, Lord,' and I will say to them, 'I never knew you'" (Matthew 7:21-23). Not everyone who calls Him Lord knows Him.

The Door

You have a choice. You can keep performing. You can keep waiting. You can keep protecting the system.

Or you can follow the Christ who flipped tables. The Christ who called out the hypocrites. The Christ who said "occupy until I come." The Christ who said "greater works than these will you do."

Stop performing. Start building. Stop waiting. Start working.

The door is open. Walk through it.

If this article landed, leave a zap. A signal that you are done performing and ready to build.
