Early ticket pre-sales for Spider-Man: Brand New Day have already surpassed $40 million domestically. Following the launch of ticket sales, industry estimates now suggest the latest installment in the franchise could debut with more than $250 million during its opening Friday-Sunday window.
If these projections hold, the film would mark the largest domestic debut since Spider-Man: No Way Home, which opened to $260.1 million in 2021. The strong initial interest highlights continued audience demand for the wall-crawler as he returns to the big screen.

Looks like most of the theaters around town have already started selling out for opening day, Thursday July 29th, haven't seen this much interest in a marvel movie since Endgame. You can still find tickets for the most part at earlier and late showings on the day of but I imagine a month from now they might be sold out.

I do remember when Endgame came out, everyone wanted to see it opening weekend because they didn't want to get spoiled online. I imagine this is likely the same idea, also it doesn't hurt that they have the Hulk and the Punisher in this movie too!

Also I guess movie theaters are officially back! 5 years after covid.
