Good post, this is under-given advice and addresses a fundamental error in people's mental model about Lightning

Lightning does not require liquidity

Lightning does not require tying up capital

Lightning is simply reusing transactions you would make anyway

The true graduated wallet is using a Lightning node's on-chain wallet for standard transactions, then make one or a few of them reusable where it makes sense

seems like electrum wallet had and has it right in that use case.
