The Fed Chair’s job isn’t to stabilize the economy. It’s to use prestige, technical jargon, and mind-numbing dullness to cover for the central bank’s expropriation of the American people. And Alan Greenspan excelled at that.

But did he ever become Supreme Leader like our most prized central banker. I don't think so.

Debatable. It was during his tenure that people really started talking about the Fed Chair as the most powerful person in the world, which you don't hear much anymore.
